Celebrating Birthdays in the Classroom

Celebrating Birthdays in the Classroom

Students love to celebrate their birthdays! Teachers love to keep it simple! Am I right? I know in my school (and probably in most schools) we are not allowed to use instructional time to celebrate students’ birthdays. If a student brings a birthday treat, we eat it in the lunchroom after lunch. But I still have to do something fun in the classroom as long as it is easy, simple and doesn’t take too much time. My student’s absolutely love m digital birthday party. It is editable, so I can easily personalize with the student’s name.

You can get the Editable Birthday Celebration here! It comes in PowerPoint and Google Slides.

The next thing I do is give my students Scratch-Off Birthday Coupons! They absolutely LOVE these! All my rewards are free or nearly free. I use rewards like, eat lunch with a friend, homework pass, or candy. You can get scratch-off stickers on Amazon here. They are only $8.99 for 100 stickers. These come in color and b/w, you can edit the rewards or keep the ones I used. How easy is that? Click the pictures to get your copies!
