Celebrating Birthdays in the Classroom

Celebrating Birthdays in the Classroom

Students love to celebrate their birthdays! Teachers love to keep it simple! Am I right? I know in my school (and probably in most schools) we are not allowed to use instructional time to celebrate students’ birthdays. If a student brings a birthday treat, we eat it in the lunchroom after lunch. But I still have to do something fun in the classroom as long as it is easy, simple and doesn’t take too much time. My student’s absolutely love my digital birthday party. It is editable, so I can easily personalize with the student’s name.

You can get the Editable Birthday Celebration here! It comes in PowerPoint and Google Slides.

The next thing I do is give my students Scratch-Off Birthday Coupons! They absolutely LOVE these! All my rewards are free or nearly free. I use rewards like, eat lunch with a friend, homework pass, or candy. You can get scratch-off stickers on Amazon here. They are only $8.99 for 100 stickers. These come in color and b/w, you can edit the rewards or keep the ones I used. How easy is that? Click the pictures to get your copies!
