King of the Mountain Whole Class Game Multiplication

This fun Multiplication Whole Class Game is played like “Around the World” except students compete to see who is King (or Queen!) of the Mountain. My students love this new twist on an old game.

How to play:

Have one student stand on a small step stool or something to make them a little taller. I use a milk crate turned upside down. They are the “King or Queen of the Mountain” Now a challenger has to come and answer a multiplication faster to replace them as the King or Queen or they can stay. The fun part? Watch out for Land Slides and Blizzards!

Students love this game and beg to play it again and again!
