Design-A-Zoo Project Based Learning Area and Perimeter

This Design A Zoo project based learning is designed for Third Graders studying Area and Perimeter. When searching for an area PBL, I found that most were too difficult for Third Graders. This project was perfect! It is differentiated, so you can have the students find the just the area or the area and the perimeter. In addition to designing the zoo, the students use a choice board to complete different activities for the zoo they have designed. These activities are varied by learning style and include other math skills.
